Joe and I were talking recently about the kids growing up.....so strange that my 'babies' are 3.5 years away from college, and 6.5 years away (Drew). I look at other people's blogs....friends having newborns or pregnant right now...others with toddlers and it's so hard to think my YOUNGEST is turning 9 next spring! Everything feels like it goes so quickly--sometimes it feels like just about the time I begin really living my adult life, all my children will be gone from the nest.
Who knows what will happen....what will come? I never would have expected a wonderful family, teriffic guy, and 5 kids! So anyway, enjoy those babies my friends....for they grow up. It seems like it will be forever until you can sleep in on a saturday, or have someone old enough to mow the lawn for you in the summer....but then they are TOO OLD in a wink, and you're left longing for that baby smell again, and the chance to hold someone who just wants to be HELD....
