Christmas is in the BAG!

I FINALLY bought Joe a Christmas present he won't buy himself! This is a bigger deal than it sounds, people! Twice already, from mid October up to last week I found 'perfect' presents for Joe for Christmas I knew he would love. I knew it, because in both cases---within days he went out and bought them for himself. To be fair, he had no idea I was going to buy them for him....or that it would reduce me to tears....but so it was. On the occasion of the second "I just bought myself a....." I felt completely depressed. (It was a deep fryer people!) I flopped in bed with Ren hoping for some sympathy....and cried that there was NOTHING left to get him.....that time was running out and there were NO good ideas left. I felt SURE that whatever I bought, he would quickly go out and somehow by the mere measure of our cranial connection en-tune he NEEDED right away and buy on the spot...be it an electric shaver, snow blower or eyebrow teaser (here, I am waxing dramatic!).

So...what is a lover to do? I had something commissioned! Praise me, I had a one of a kind piece of something made for my Joe. Even if he used an international exploratory committee and happened to somehow find the tiny uneducated individual with the surely shaky past and 12 nieces living in his kitchen man (not here pictured for fear of his extradition back to the island of Endorium) ....how EVER would he get the EXACT piece made twice? There are no twins to original pieces, my friend! So HA! I laugh at you oh devils of double gifting! I spit on you, oh spirit of Christmas Adversity! It might not be practical, or nearly as cool as being able to make your own fried dough the day after Christmas but its still original....and it's going to be here.......(in 3-6 weeks).

Happy Christmas oh small village industry planners.....my check is in the mail!
