My Personality Quiz

So, I was bored recently and began a google search for questionnaires. I found this one, and thought it was oddly fitting. I'll tell you at the end what it is for......

Do you sometimes feel that things you see on the TV or read in the newspaper have a special meaning for you ? Y N

No. Not at all. Take the recently barrage of political commercials.....every time one comes on and says, "HE gave millions of dollars to special interests and large corporations, do you REALLY want him in control of YOUR hard-earned dollars??" I think to myself, what does that have to do with ME? I've probably given a million dollars in MY lifetime to special interests (my family) and large corporations (Walmart) and I don't want to lose MY job over that!

I sometimes avoid going to places where there will be many people because I will get anxious.

I avoid bathrooms when all the stalls are full and there is a line. Does that count??

Have you had experiences with the supernatural ? Y N

Sure! I experienced it weekly when I was growing up! Mork and Mindy, The Greatest American Hero, ohh, and Ghost Busters. I just loved that song! "If there's something strange in the aphnosphere..."

Have you often mistaken objects or shadows for people, or noises for voices ? Y N

Ahh yeah! Have YOU SEEN "Nightmare on Elm Street" and then tried to take out the trash at 10pm???? I think NOT!!!!

Other people see me as slightly eccentric (odd).Y N

Not at all. Not even a little.

I have little interest in getting to know other people.Y N

No, no I do! Though only the ones who read my blog. All the others can just go away, they don't interest me at all.

People sometimes find it hard to understand what I am saying.Y N

I'm perfectly easy to understand, didn't I?

People sometimes find me aloof and distant.Y N

Only when I turn and walk away from people who are saying anything to me.

Clearly! Mostly cause Joe has said in the past, "Everyone? This is MY Dani! My Dani, right here!" That was a comfie moment!

I get very nervous when I have to make polite conversation.Y N

Do you believe in telepathy (mind-reading) ?Y N

I'll just answer that one in my head. (Don't you agree??)......(Scary thing is, I can imagine what you just thought I said!)

I tell Joe, "Joe......?????" and want him to know what I am saying. I think he hates that. He waits and waits and then says, "WHAT??!!!" and I think to myself, "I said it! Didn't you FEEL my words??" But what comes out is...."never mind!"

Have you ever had the sense that some person or force is around you, even though you cannot see anyone ?Y N

Only when they are carrying a metal bat, or a gun, or a tazer, or my bills, or a political poster.

Maybe. Except when I know exactly what I am trying to say, but then again that's when everyone else seems to miss my point completely which iswhenIbegintorunmywordstogetherandlaughalot.

Who me?? True story...Joe would sometimes drift off while I was talking to him on the phone, so I started to have long conversations with him in the morning when he was still asleep....NO JOKE! I had these fantastic great talks, pouring out my feelings--praying--all while he slept. And then, when he did wake up, I would ask him how he felt about what I told him, and he'd say, "About what?" And I would all offended like the telepathy didn't work AGAIN and that must be a SIGN of something! Ohh sorry, what was the question? Yes, I can hear you now.

This one I am sure about......NO!!!! Not even a little!

This was a self-report questionnaire for STPD. From the Department of Psychology at the University of Southern California. STPD is a psychozoid disorder. Thank goodness it says that you have to have positive answers for ALL of the questions! Phew! That one was a close one! But, it does make me wonder....if we were 100% honest, at all times and in ALL ways...how many of us would fail these quizzes? How "well" could we all claim to be???
